Scheduling Policies

Our small animal appointments are scheduled between the hours of 10-11:45 a.m. and 1-4:45 p.m. on Mondays. Tuesday through Friday appointments are available from 8:30 to 11:45 a.m. and 1-4:45 p.m. Appointments are available Saturday mornings 8:30 to 11:45 a.m. Surgical appointments are scheduled mornings Monday through Friday.

PLEASE CALL FOR AN APPOINTMENT.

Our staff asks that your dog be kept on a leash when coming in for an appointment and that cats be kept in carriers. This is for your pet's safety and the safety of other clients pets as well.


Credit Policies

Please note the following policies as they may vary from, and do supercede, any and all previous credit policies of Seward Animal Hospital, P.C.

Seward Animal Hospital, P.C. (SAH), on an individual basis, may approve the extension of credit to it’s clients in accordance with the following:

First time clients: First time clients must pay the balance in full at the time that services are rendered, unless previous arrangements have been made. After the client has established a relationship with SAH, credit may be extended according to the policies established herein.

Due Date: All purchases on credit will be stated on the monthly invoice statement rendered by SAH at month’s end. The balances stated on said statement are due and payable by the 25th of the month following statement.

Finance Charge: Any invoice statement balance, or portion thereof, not paid by the 25th of the month following statement will be subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month. There will be a minimum finance charge of $5.00 per month that the balance remains unpaid. Said Finance charges will be assessed when the next month’s statements are rendered.

Credit Termination: SAH reserves the right to terminate credit sales at any time without prior notification. All sales will be on a prepaid cash basis if the client account has a past due balance more than 90 days following the statement date.

Refusal of Service: SAH reserves the right to refuse service without prior notice to accounts with a past due balance more than 90 days following the statement date.

Change in terms: Credit terms may be changed at the discretion of SAH, including, but not limited to, changing the due date, changing the billing cycle, or on any other matter after notice of such change has been given to the client.

No Rights Waiver: Neither an extension of time for payment granted to the client, if any, nor acceptance of partial payment by SAH, if any, shall constitute a waiver of any right to full payment of all sums due and owing to SAH by the client.

Collection: When concerning balances more than 90 days following the statement date that remain uncollected by SAH for a period of time considered reasonable by SAH, SAH reserves the right to turn collection of said balance over to a collection agency.
